After nine months of non-stop deliveries, the final trailer load has been delivered to Warradarge Wind Farm by Ares.
The project saw 51 wind turbines, each consisting of 8 oversize components, transported over 300km from Henderson Port to site. The logistical challenge was made even greater by the fact that we were also delivering another 51 turbines to Yandin Wind Farm at the same time. This required pro-active planning at port to segregate components in storage, as well as meticulous management to ensure each load had the correct (single-trip) permit and required pilots and escorts for every journey.
